Classic Sailing Experience (3 Hours)

Service Description

Not a day goes by when we cannot find some sea life just outside the Dana Point Harbor. This area is well known for countless sightings of blue whales, grey whales and the occasional Orca. We will jump aboard the one of our immaculate sailing vessels for this 3-hour excursion. Depending on the winds, we may put up the sails as we set out to find ourselves some sea life. If whales are being spotted, we usually can see the other whale watching boats packed with a hundred people, as we casually sneak up on your private charter. It’s pretty common we’re able to come across a pod of dolphin, who love to swim right off our bow. You will have the opportunity to sit on the bow and almost touch these magical creatures as they swim along side us. We usually return to the harbor for a short cruise around the marina as you enjoy some snacks or your favorite beverages you brought along. It’s a wonderful way to spend your day. NOTE: This is a three hour private trip and the itinerary of what we do is up to you. Our description above just gives you an idea of what to expect. Best times to book: For calmer seas book in the mornings but there is no particular best time, anytime is good.

Cancellation Policy

All bookings may be canceled without any penalty if canceled within 7 days prior to departure. All other cancelations will have a $250 cancelation fee if canceled more than 24 hours in advance. If canceled less than 24 hours in advance of your departure, you will be charged 50% of the total booking amount. It’s rare we have weather that will cause a trip cancelation, but it can happen. If your trip is canceled due to inclement weather you will not be charged a cancelation fee. A cancelation due to weather will be made by your Captain approximately 4 hours prior to your departure.
